What tune has defined this year in hard dance for you?
I absolutely love Amber D's 'Always' - It has everything, wicked moody percussion a massive vocal that doesn't have a whiff of cheese and a twisted synth riff in the breakdown with a huge build up. The off key stabs in the breakdown do it for me, if I've verged a little towards the fromage side during a set, I drop this to add a bit of moodiness and edginess to the set. Works a treat.
What has been your biggest achievement of the year?
Playing at Glastonbury festival. It was amazing.
What moments in the last year will you always remember?
The most recent ones! No but seriously the festivals and weekenders have been brilliant this year, the last one was The BigReunion in Skegness. I got to play to a couple of thousand hard dance nutters in the Tidy arenas then pop down the road to see The View and The Twang. Brilliant. Lisa Lashes and I have had some great times on tour together this year and Tidy in Ibiza was excellent as well - I've had a great year, so thanks to everyone who came to see me play.
What exciting things do you have planned for next year?
I'm really getting my head down in the studio as I've had a bit of a break from it this year, my site www.annesavage.net is having a makeover at the moment so I'm really excited about that. We've made some radical changes so I'm really excited about the launch. I'll let you know when that is!
