What's been your biggest achievement of the year?
I launched my own label Siren Trax this year and so far I've had a great response for every track, in fact all 3 have been licensed to several compilation albums, and my collaboration with Kidd Kaos "Pure Sensation"is currently track of the week on the difinitive Dutch website hardstyle.com, a huge achievement for my first hardstyle track. However,in my eyes the culmination of 8 months hard work with BK to create a hard dance album to be proud of is my biggest achievement. It was a treat to work with such a talented producer, it is finally finished and due for release in 2010. It's called PANDEMIC and "Sweet Senation" will be the first single from the album to hit download stores in February or March 2010
What moments will you never forget?
The last Riot! at Matter in London will go down in history as one of the best hard dance gigs I've played at, myself and BK did a back to back last set playing a lot of our own tracks which took the roof off. Riot is going from strength to strength so I'm thrilled to be part of their future plans.
Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?
Its a tricky one, is Kidd Kaos still a newcomer?
Who's been the artist of the year for you?
Luca Antolini/Bryan Kearney
What's been your favourite label of the year?
Riot and Traffic
What do you think has been the best track of the year?
'I've Become' by Cally & Juice
What's been your favourite event of the year?
"Secret Garden Party" is a relatively new, medium scale festival which I was lucky enough to play at this year. I camped the whole weekend and it had a magical atmosphere which I've never experienced before. It's growing and I don't think it will remain a "Secret" for long.
What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?
Some bizarre and rediculous things have happened to me this year;- my house nearly burnt down, my dog got bitten by a snake and nearly died, someone smashed into my car whilst I was in the toilets at a petrol station...more disasters than funny stories!
What do you have planned for the next year?
The release of the PANDEMIC album and the subsequent singles will keep me busy. The first release of 2010 on Siren Trax is a collaboration between Lisa Lashes and myself called "Release Me" I'm very excited about it. BK and me will be starting a big tour of the UK and rest of the world to promote the album, including performing the album live and some back to back DJ sets. I am also a firm fixture in the plans for Riot!, quite a lot to be going on with I reckon!
