What tune has defined this year in hard dance for you?
2007 is it really already over!! It's been a very interesting and exciting year for us both with lots of hard work and blood sweat and tears in the studio but all worth it in the end! We would say the track that has defined this year for us is our 1st collaboration with Andy Whitby. Andy Whitby & Audio Hedz - Rock Ya Body has defined this year for us as it has had the best response from a track we have ever played also not forgetting that good time uplifting party anthematic bounce or Power Bounce is well and truly back . We had so many e-mails telling us how they love the track begging for a copy but the best thing is seeing what it does on the dance floor in a club.
What has been your biggest achievement of the year?
That would be Hoovers & Horns Remix being signed to Nukleuz which will be due for release some time in the New Year. Also Audio Hedz & Wain Johnstone – The Birds being signed to Tidy and put on there Bootlegs & Blags Album. We made The Birds for a bit of fun and never even thought Tidy would sign it, so on a production front that's a job well done for us this year.
What moments in the last year will you always remember?
There's a few we have had this year. Our 1st time playing at Frantic was amazing also it was our 1st time playing in London. The scene there had such a buzz about it, it just made the whole experience worth while. Also we would say what hit us the most in 2007 was watching 1000's of people at Global Gathering and Frantic's 10th Birthday stomping away and singing along with the lyrics to Rock Ya Body. We couldn't be at the events but we saw the videos and it was very emotional for us and we will always remember that.
What exciting things do you have planned for next year?
We have lots planned for 2008, the 1st is our new mix early in the year full of our own productions remix's and mash ups to continue the Get Mashed series. 2nd we are hitting the studio ten fold and working on lots of our own solo projects. 3rd Our Presence Hard-Wave label, we have some amazing releases lined up for next year and were looking to take the label to the next stage with releases from Tom Berry including our remix of Tom's “I Don't Need You” also tracks from Gigi Pussy and lots more top producers so keep your eyes out. Finally our 1000 Member Get Mashed With The Audio Hedz Free DSI Party, after the 500 members bash that went so well we are doing another sometime next year giving some of the best up & coming dj's a chance to play and not forgetting our young protégé Tom Symonds look out he's on his way! And let see what other things 2008 will bring.
