My Year In Hard Dance

2007 has been a fantastic year for me mainly because of one reason, Dance Valley in Amsterdam. It had been a very distant dream of mine to play at the world renowned festival so when the booking came in for it I was made up. Other fantastic events have been the ever popular Tidy Weekenders, the VCR events at stylus in Leeds & getting the chance to travel to Adelaide (Aus), Auckland (NZ) & Christchurch (NZ) & spread some more of the Stevens sound around the globe.
There have been some amazing tracks released over the past year & I think a special note needs to go to the Omega 3 guys from New Zealand, they are churning out some quality melodic hard dance music & they are certainly ones to watch for the future.
I have started up my own record label Fireball Recordings so I can release more of my own tracks & grab some of the gems from the up & coming producers that feed our scene. The first release seems to be selling well & has had a fantastic reception from the clubbers & dj's, so any budding producers get your tracks over to us & you could be on a forthcoming Fireball Release.
From January I will be working at Toolbox Music with Nik Denton distributing many of the scene's leading labels so I'm looking forward to 2008!
