What tune has defined this year in hard dance for you?
I'm not sure that there has been one specific track that has defined this year in hard house, there are so many to choose from – I have literally been spoilt for choice! I do think that hard house has made a turn around this year though, with so many new amazing producers coming through and pushing everything forward. It's been a very exciting year production wise and I am so excited about 2008 now.
What has been your biggest achievement of the year?
I feel that I have had quite a few achievements this year – my debut in Ibiza this summer for Tidy, headlining Frantic's HUGE 10th birthday party @ The KoKo Club and mixing part of the new 'Hard Dance Revolution' album. But my biggest achievement this year has to be winning the 'Best Newcomer' award at this year's Hard Dance Awards, wow!
What moments in the last year will you always remember?
Moments from this year that I'll always remember would be collecting the 'Best Newcomer' Award on the main stage of Brixton Academy, that was absolutely insane and such a shock as well! Another moment would be watching the crowd go absolutely wild when me and Andy played our classics set at Frantic 10/15 this year, the whole place was absolutely electric for the 2 hours we were playing and the view from that stage was something I'll never forget. Another would be being covered in mud whilst playing in the Slinky vs Frantic tent at this year's Sanctuary Festival, that was pretty amazing – because everyone there was either covered in mud or wet, they really didn't care and were really going for it, the atmosphere in that tent was just brilliant. Oh and the sole of my boot fell off on the way out as well, due to the amount of mud I had to walk through, lol!
What exciting things do you have planned for next year?
I am so excited about next year already, having seen how everything has moved forward this year, it only means that hard house is going to be bigger and better in 2008 and I'm so happy to be a part of that. I'm definitely going to start going into the studio and getting into production a lot more - it's something that I know I need to do to move forward in my career and I feel that the time is right for that now. My diary for next is already filling up as well, which is fantastic as I know that I have got some fantastic gigs lined up to look forward to. All in all 2008 is going to be fab, I can just feel it!!
