Cally Gage - My Year In Hard Dance

What's been your biggest achievement of the year?

I don't think that has been one thing that stands out as my biggest achievement this year, the whole year has been one big rollercoaster for me and I've loved every minute of it.

What moments will you never forget?

Playing main stage at KoKo for Frantic's 12th birthday. The place was rammed and everyone was going completely crazy, I have goosebumps for the whole time I was stood up on that stage - it was mental!!

Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?

Klubfiller. He has only been in the scene a short time, but has definately made a huge impression. At only 22 he is so talented and that's really exciting, he's also a jolly good bloke as well.

What's been your favourite label of the year?

AWsum, without a doubt really. The label has been releasing tune after tune since it started 2 years ago, it's really exciting to see where it will go next.

What do you think has been the best track of the year?

Well I'm going to have to shamelessly plug my own track here!! My favourite track so far has to be my collaboration with MDA & Spherical called Feel It - it sounds amazing and I get asked about it all the time, it's very flattering.

What's been your favourite event of the year?

It was definately Tidy the Homecoming @ Magna and to top it all, I played b2b with Andy Whitby. That main room is insane, there were people back as far as I could see and they were all going mental - the whole set was just bonkers!

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?

God, I don't think I could name just 1 - plenty of funny things happen to me on a daily basis and they normally involve me hurting myself, I'm very accident prone you see!

What do you have planned for the next year?

Work, work and more work, lol!! Over the last few months I've been working on a few exciting projects that should all be ready to launch in the New Year, so I'm really excited to see what 2010 will bring - especially if this year is anything to go by.
