What tune has defined this year in hard dance for you?
Don't wanna blow our own ship's horn but any advertising is good innit. Has to be from our new artist album, Omega 3 - 'Fishy Situations.' Been respected and tipped as track of the year by many Djs including huge support from the good lad, Andy Farley. We're so great we should be jealous of ourselves!
What has been your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting the studio pumping out again and Tinrib back online and at the front of the scene as the all new www.tinribdigital.com And in the meantime, completing a true Hard Dance Artist Album with Christchurch, New Zealand local friends Dale Fairbairn (Butcherboy) & Stephen Arnold (Scuba Steve.)
What moments in the last year will you always remember?
Has to be Flood Lands. Also UK Flood nose from it! While over on tour of the UK in 2007 there were the worst conditions imaginable. Treturous as the UK weatherman Michael Fish said and he was bang on the money I tell ye! From the word go trying to get to Vicious Circle's event in Leeds and then the following weeks to A&E in Shrewsbury. On the A&&E expedition I got sent to London from Bournemouth. Told no trains and to get on a packed train to Bristol, where I had to give up! Luckily Ben Javlin had his speed boat there and we were there in under 2 hours via Wales!!! What a trip! The No.1 rule was in play there completely. Always make the gig no matter what!!! Took 2 days to get back! All good fun. Met loads of new friendly faces. Thanks for all your help by the way. Especially the reviver stop off incident in Hereford!!! And the police escort to Shrewsbury with smoke pouring out the windows! Tried to escape the NZ winter, but to no avail! Good times... Eye thank you.
What exciting things do you have planned for next year?
Our massive CD album Omega 3 - 'Lost @ Sea' is due for release from here in NZ. Dabbling in a lot of other styles of Dance music this year. Done my 1st Psy Trance/ Hard Dance number, 'Smells Like a Pirate Spirit' which is available for free on Tinrib Digital as a thankyou for all your support. Also starting an NZ Band is on the cards! NZ Dub Dance! We're touring with the Omega 3 CD launch and locking in dates right now across New Zealand & Australia. Working on this right now. More to follow reel soon. Catch me if you can.
