What's been your biggest achievement of the year?

The last year or so has been a great year for me and I have achieved a lot in such a short place of time! I have played at venues I could only have dreamed of including the Tidy Weekender, Opera House, Global Gathering, Brixton Academy, Ministry of Sound and KoKo! They are all achievements in their own right and each gig has been incredible!

What moments will you never forget?

Playing at Tidy Weekender 12 was one of the most memorable moments of my life. I have always been a fan of the weekenders and have attended most of them, so when I got offered the chance to play in the Contagious Clubwear arena I jumped at the opportunity! The whole set was amazing, the room was completely packed and they had to stop people coming in. I remember walking out to the front of the stage and looking out and everyone was screaming with joy!!! I'll always remember that moment.

Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?

The whole scene is very exciting for new DJs at the moment as there are a lot of events who are very supportive and encouraging of "Nu Breeds" which is fantastic! With the rise of nights like HDS new DJs are getting the chance to play in clubs for the first time! Wain Johnstone has to be my favourite new comer, he plays the bounciest bounce around and he is technically brilliant! He is definitely one to watch out for!

Who's been the artist of the year for you?

Rob Tissera, he never fails to impress and is always a huge inspiration to everyone!

What's been your favourite label of the year?

AWsum is a new label that I love, it has already brought out some amazing tunes! Presence have also come around recently and support a lot of new producers so a big fan of them too. By far though, Tidy has to be my favourite, they have brought out some brilliant releases over time and recently too!

What do you think has been the best track of the year?

A track that I still just can't get enough of and always makes me smile is "It's just a feeling" (BK's back to 99 mix). It's got everything, vocal, good baseline and a real happy drive!

What's been your favourite event of the year?

Contagious Clubwear have held the best parties in the last year and their Bouncing Ball was one of the Best!! This night had great DJ's, top decor and a really good atmosphere, I had a brilliant night! Hard House Academy 8 is a close runner too, that was a great event!

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?

Someone handed me a piece of wood during a set once and asked me to sign it! That was very random and funny!

What do you have planned for the next year?

I am currently working on a new demo "Sound of the Nation 3" which I hope to have available early in 2009. I am very excited about this new demo as it has been a long time since I did my last one. On this demo you can expect lots of new tunes along with some classics that I have been playing out over this year, mixed in with lots of tricks and fun!

I am also booked into the studio with Technikal to make a new remix of a old classic tune, which is going to be a biggy I hope! Also, following the success of Dance For Life I may put on another event, so watch this space for more info!
