Chimera - My Year In Hard Dance

What's been your biggest achievement of the year?

My biggest achievement so far in the last 12 months would be either having one of my tracks (Lost Origin & Chimera - Beautiful) featured on DJ Promos The Third Movement Radio Show on Q-Dance FM and the same tracks also on Kutski's Radio 1 Show or Playing at Masters of Hardcore's World Tour in The Arches for 2.5 Hours Back2Back with Lost Origin that was one of the best gigs I have played at.

What moments will you never forget?

I will never forget closing the Dance Arch in The Arches Glasgow (BTTF 24Th September) taking over from Neophyte to a totally packed crowd. It was that loud I thought I would going to pass out at one point, that's always a plus in my book!

Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?

Omi from The Third Movement his first EP with them, even though its a 2 tracker this guy has serious potential for 2012 cant wait to hear more of his productions.

Who's been the artist of the year for you?

Everything that Amnesys seems to be bringing out these days is gold this year!

What's been your favourite label of the year?

Traxtorm Records hands down that has been loads of amazing tracks out in the last 12 months but I personally love the style their artist have.

What do you think has been the best track of the year?

That's a hard one, would have to be between two tracks. Either, Meccano Twins - Combustion or Alien T - I Am Not Perfect

What's been your favourite event of the year?

For being booked every event I have played at has been fantastic, from Darkside, Impact to BTTF, Masters of Hardcore & Showtek's Tour as well as HTID's Events I couldn't pick from them they were all great in their own way. As a clubber would say Masters of Hardcore Design The Future was the first event I went to in Holland and it totally blew me away with the whole production of the event was just spectacular to witness, also Defqon1 Scrap Attack the weather was perfect for this event which made it even more enjoyable Q-Dance know how to put on a party!

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?

Would have to be with Al Twisted when I didn't have my Ear Plugs with me at an event and decided that tissue paper would be a good idea...I then spent the next 5 hours in A&E as it got stuck in my ear! I have learned from that mistake, NEVER FORGET YOUR EAR PLUGS! Haha.

What do you have planned for the next year?

Over the next 12 months I plan on releasing some more solo tracks as well as some new productions with Lost Origin and hopefully start getting some more bookings across the water.
