What tune has defined this year in hard dance for you?
2007 was a strange year for hard dance, There's has been a surge of interesting tracks that I've been adding to the box, But if I had to pick one it would be along the lines of "Microwave" There's a totally new sound there that has turn the scene a little with all the new aged sound coming out on the Unreleased Session EP's "Quality Stuff" really looking forward to the Production in 2008
What has been your biggest achievement of the year?
My biggest achievement was becoming HQ Manager for Carl Nicholson's Presence-Recordings, The running of 7 Genres from Electro to hard house, and also Presence Trance which will be launching in Feb 2008, Looking forward to signing some good production as well as BIG names next year!!!
What moments in the last year will you always remember?
Having our first 4 tracks signed By Addiction Digital, Traffic and Tidy. Solaris Was the first signing on (AD) with future hero Mixmag's Olly Perris, our EP on the unreleased sessions 3 with James Condon, Condensed minds/Elecktrizm, in which Condensed minds featured in BK's top 10. And the remix I did for Carl Nicholson, System Shock was done with mda and spherical and Simon Qudos and features on the tidy weekender 12 LIVE CD mixed by Kym Ayres and Technikal, Pure Quality!!!
What exciting things do you have planned for next year?
Well being in the team at Presence I've got some interesting gig's popping up in different parts of the globe, and the opportunity to play some legendary nights from march onwards, and a residency at a new night in London called Recreation. So through the label the bookings are rolling in LOL!!! Bring on 2008...
