What's been your biggest achievement of the year?

Keeping the label going for sure, 13 vinyl releases in this financial climate is a definate achievement. Other than that, not killing my manager, Barry... that was harder though.

What moments will you never forget?

I'll never forget any gigs I've done with the following people, Organ Donors, Dr.Willis, Kutski & Phil York. All for VERY different reasons. That is all.

Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?

Kidd Kaos in terms of production, he has a real talent. Tone Sutcliffe is a good new DJ, I'm liking his style.

Who's been the artist of the year for you?

Picasso. Nah, Kutski, just too much skill. Bootek has done very well this year, also.

What's been your favourite label of the year?

DarkbyDesign Recordings. Can't think why.

What do you think has been the best track of the year?

My favourite track is always the last one I did, so I guess 'Candyman', DbD13... OUT 22ND DEC! *shamless plug*

What's been your favourite event of the year?

Monday Bar Cruise in Sweden (On a Thursday?!?) Ministry of Sound in Singapore was heavy. I did a massive one in Malaysia... free entry, free drinks and free cigarettes!! Plus I won a guitar hero competition! I've had some great gigs this year.

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?

There's been a few... DJing on a boat in Whitby, playing ridiculously hard music, on a sunday afternoon whilst old ladies and such are venturing into town for fish and chips... looking absolutely distraught. Surreal, yet insanely funny stuff. Matt Harries and me taking Yellow Pages to a painfull new level was VERY FUNNY. Locking myself on my Ibiza hotel balcony for an hour and a half... was not.

What do you have planned for the next year?

I'm going to invent a new wheel. Then remix it. Win the hard dance awards.. Then quit. Read all about it on twitter @darkbydesign666. *Did it again.*
