Diablik - My Year In Hard Dance

What's been your biggest achievement of the year?

I think it's my chance to play on the the international electronic music festival KaZantip. I've dreamt about it since studying at school and I was not a DJ. I've played for a few times on the "Coliseum" dancefloor which was made by Russian Legend of hard techno Viktor Strogonov and then I got really awesome feedback from him and got invited in the future to play some warp-up DJ sets before him and I even play 'hard dancey' back2back with him. It means a lot for me because I was very young kid when I started to listen to his music.

What moments will you never forget?

I wont ever forget those crazy people on the 'KISS.FM arena' dancing by hard dance music in 9 AM at! It was under sunny skies near the sea at Kazantip. LOVELY!

Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?

LEE MAC!

Who's been the artist of the year for you?

It's defo my boys Oyaebu! And also I love the sound of KloneZ, Projekt.Tek, Argy, Dermot Bateman, Re-born & Verjo, Organ Donors, A*S*Y*S, Scott Attrill, Thilo & Evanti and many many other guys.

What's been your favourite label of the year?

Riot!, Traffic, Audio Surgery, IHDS, Virus Audio, AID, Digitally Infected and a lot of anothers...

What do you think has been the best track of the year?

It was amazing year for hard dance music and it's very difficult to choose the best one's. But I've played "Lee Mac - Memory Loss" and "Andy Richmond - Megamind (Oyaebu VIP Remix)" almost every my DJ set. If you asked about my tracks which I played all the time it was: "I'M A BITCH!", remix of "AWESOME" by Stana and collaboration with the same Stana "I TECH YOU".

What's been your favourite event of the year?

Every party was pretty good for me. But open-air 'Turbofly 2011' on the runaway with over than 8000 people was really amazing this year!!!

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?

Once, I've featured as headliner on the little open air at recreation center near the river in my hometown Krivoy Rog. It was all good but we have had too much alcohol... So all people went to sleep before 3 AM!!! LOL. And when I started to play in the morning the party was immediately stopped by the watchman of the recreation center because the time for a party was over... He said so, :D Organizers with "OKAY" faces started to take away all these DJ equipments and other.

What do you have planned for the next year?

Keep doing strong and unique hard dance beats aaaaand... founding my own label ;)
