What's been your biggest achievement of the year?
My biggest achievement of 2011 was playing on the main stage at the Emporium Super club for the Storm vs Audio Surgery event. This was a dream come true and a personal target of mine, which I never expected to achieve so soon. The crowd loved it and to play alongside some of the biggest names in the scene was unreal. This in my opinion is the best club in the country and its the atmosphere and clubbers that make it what it is! The Emporium holds many special memories for me as this is where it all started and is where I have met some of the best and also craziest friends I could ever wish to meet.
What moments will you never forget?
Getting 2 track releases to no.1 of the Trackitdown charts and also becoming Ignite resident.
Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?
Theres so many talented up and comers bringing something new to the scene. Hats off to the Quarantine lads, all their hard work and commitment is starting to pay off in a big way. The newcomer that has impressed me the most is Jack Wood. His scratching and technical ability is awesome to watch and he definitely stands out from the rest. One to watch out for!
Who's been the artist of the year for you?
Thera and Geck-O (collectively). Their productions are second to none, and after seeing them play at Qontinent I cant wait to see them again!
What's been your favourite label of the year?
Without a doubt Theracords, the guys involved with this label are producing some proper banging rawstyle.
What do you think has been the best track of the year?
Thats a difficult one but Id have to say Catatonic Overload Attitude!
What's been your favourite event of the year?
I attended a few events around Europe, but I would have to say the best two by far were Qontinent Festival in Belgium and Q-Base in Germany. The work and production that goes into these events is phenomenal and the music is world class. More people from the UK should check out Q Dance Events!
What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?
Stressing out as to why my headphone werent working Turns out they werent plugged in :/
What do you have planned for the next year?
I want to continue to support the hardstyle scene, improve, concentrate on producing and getting my sound out there. This year is already panning out to be a big one, with some big bookings coming in already ☺
