What's been your biggest achievement of the year?

My biggest achievement has been helping the Hard Dance Scene grow in Chicago. I took it upon myself as my duty to help spread this amazing genre of music.

What moments will you never forget?

Playing in front of a crowd of a 1000+ Ravers in December 2011 for the 18th annual Winter Wonderland Source Massive in Chicago. I ended my set with Showtek - FTS and everyone went absolutely insane! Afterwards they were all chanting "Hard as F*ck!"

Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?

I would have to say the Toneshifterz! They have been making slamming hits, track after track!

Who's been the artist of the year for you?

DJ COONE. He killed it with Dirty Works and the Jump scene. I still favor his Jumpstyle over his Hardstyle. Congrats to him making DJMAG top100.

What's been your favourite label of the year?

I would have to say Dirty Works. The artists on that label are just amazing. So much talent.

What do you think has been the best track of the year?

Phillippe Rochard - Bounce Da Beat ( Brennan's Zero2Nine Remix). This is a classic but I still play it and the crowd goes nuts! "And Remember.. We are still not Responsible for cause any Ear Damage"

What's been your favourite event of the year?

North Coast Music Festival. Over 50,000 people in a 3 day period featuring artists from all over the world on four stages. This was such an incredible experience and best part was I got to perform at this event as well!

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?

It would have to be my first time using the new Pioneer CDJ-2000 with the USB integration. It was at the DBSTF show in Chicago. I was closing for them and they had the Cd player set to using the USB. Being a vinyl DJ and pre CDJ-2000 user, I was unfamiliar with the USB function. So i inserted my CD and began to play, but I did not recognize my track playing and I was a little confused but just went with it. (Little did i know it was one of the tracks playing from DBSTF USB drive since the USB function was not switched off.) As I reached over to pull out the USB to give back to one of the guys, they noticed what I was about to do and tried to stop me but it was too late, I pulled the drive and the music went dead silent. It was probably the most embarrassing moments as well as the funniest looking back at it now!

What do you have planned for the next year?

Planning a lot of original and bootleg remixes as well as some big Hard Dance Events.
