Geck-o - My Year In Hard Dance

What's been your biggest achievement of the year?

Getting to play at big events like Decibel Outdoor Festival, getting support by the biggest DJs like Headhunterz, improving my production and having so much wonderful experiences!

What moments will you never forget?

I won't forget 2011's Ground Zero Festival. We had our own Theracords area there, wihch made for an awesome atmosphere!

Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?

Phrantic! This young Swiss guy has so much talent and he has worked on his skills so much this year, I'm sure he will break through in 2012! :D Look out for his new stuff on the Theracords label!

Who's been the artist of the year for you?

Next to myself (;P) that must have been TNT aka Technoboy and Tuneboy. They have made so much amazing tracks!

What's been your favourite label of the year?

Theracords. Label owner Dj Thera is just a hero and we have a great chemistry!

What do you think has been the best track of the year?

The biggest track of my own was Geck-o - It's What We Are, and Headhunterz even made his own edit of it! Other favorites this year are TNT - Dial T For TNT and Phrantic - Road Warrior. Such amazing party tracks!

What's been your favourite event of the year?

Musicwise the last Remember party of 2011 was brilliant, I just love early hardstyle! As for my best gig, it might actually be Fusion of Dance Indoor, such a big crowd, such a great set I played there and enjoying the musical diversity with all the areas :)

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?

Must have been the Monday Bar Cruise from Stockholm to Riga and back - it was filled with crazy people, had a lot of fun there.

What do you have planned for the next year?

Enjoying, producing, growing, improving! Expect maximum diversity ;)
