What's been your biggest achievement of the year?

My biggest Achievement is releasing the Outbreak Digital Birthday CD. We were lucky enough to have some of the biggest producers on board to make this CD very Special, with producers invovled such as Guyver, Technikal, Nick Rowland, Dave Owens, Iridium, Jon BW and also featured some exciting new up and coming producers such as Gary B, Amp Attack and Toryn D. Also being featured on various CD's and Albums, makes me proud to look at something physical in my hands.

What moments will you never forget?

Myself, Amp Attack and a couple of others put on a one off charity event in Coventry, called Movin' House, which raised money for Cystic Fibrosis, the line up was very exciting and we will never forget the amazing event.

Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?

There are a couple of exciting producer/Artist to who I get excited about new releases from them, one of them being is Jason Roberts, his sound is very exciting fusing the Hard Trance sound with the Hard House sound and his tracks always go down well on the dance floors. Another great producer who is doing it for me right now is a guy from Ireland called James Devlin, really look forward to his new tracks and it's great seeing a producer doing some warm up material at a very very high quality level. Kris O'Rourke has put out some really impressive stuff this year with releases on Toolbox and Bosh Recordings and Indicate Recordings, Kris is def a name you should keep an eye out for next year, trust me if this guy carries on like he is we are in for a serious treat. Another new face I've been impressed by is Gary B, I've had the chance to work with him a few times and his ideas and passion for the music is immense. He really has built his own sound and you can hear this in his various production, he will do very well in 2010 trust me. There has been a couple of others that have done some amazing work too from Scott Genetik who's really doing well for himself now and not just on the production side Encoded has been a great label this year. Hilz'e has really pushed out some very exciting tracks aswell on his label Indicate with some very strong heavy weight producers on board. Also Gem Stone too her own production has come on really well over 2009 and looks set to have another great year next year, keep your ears out for her.

Who's been the artist of the year for you?

This year there has been so many amazing producer/artists coming onto the hard dance scene from Jason Roberts to Rich Resonate, Michael Smith, Hilz'e, Scott Gentik, Robbie Muir and Gary B who is continuously coming up with amazing tracks and remixes. I have also been loving the work of the regular producers to like Defective Audio aka Base Graffiti, Darrell White, Equinox, Chris Comben, Paul Maddox, Paul Janes, Amp Attack, Dave Owens aka Curve Pusher, Frank Farrell, Ben Stevens, Adrenaline Dept and SQ, I could keep going on and on all day there are so many.

What's been your favourite label of the year?

Again there has been some quality labels appearing over 2009, and also the normal label keeping up with the high quality release as they are known for. Tidy, Toolbox, Turtle Dog, Igloo Recordings, Elasticman, Fireball, Combat Recordings, Carbon Recordings, Spinball Reocordings, Vicious Circle, Kung Fu Wax, Deprivation, Impact Recordings, Encoded, Electric Shandy, Hostility Recordings, Indicate, HardHittin Recordings and Outbreak Digital haha. And More could keep going, but think that is enough.

What do you think has been the best track of the year?

There has been some extremely high quality tracks out this year I must say and really really hard to pin point just one track, so below is just a couple that have got me jumping around like a kid at crimbo. BK - Rave Monkey (JP & Jukesy Remix) (Tidy) Jason Roberts - Psy'd Kick (Combat Recordings) Gary B - Beat One Off (Outbreak Digital) Hi Freak1c & Gary B Meets Dave Owens - Whiskers (Outbreak Digital) Darrell White - Bad Habits (Pure NRG) James Devlin - No Two Ways About It (Devotion Dance) I really could keep going but will leave it as that.

What's been your favourite event of the year?

In 2009 there were a fair amount of amazing nights I went to, but the ones that stand out for me was our Movin' House event, more because Myself and other were invovled with setting it up, it's a big achievement setting up your own night. I Take my hat off to the people who do it every week or monthly aswell. Another night which will stick in my head is seeing The Prodigy Live in Birmingham the night was immense and great to hear them back on the scene, there music really is out of this world.

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?

Nothing funny has happened really this year to me, but i have had a embarrassing moment which was getting up in front of a packed out audience in London and receiving an award for the best student on my music production course at Access To Music, based in Bristol.

What do you have planned for the next year?

Keep pluggin away with the music production, and carry on with Outbreak Digital. We have some extremely exciting things due for Outbreak in 2010 can't say to much but look out for more high class releases from us. On the production side of things I have a fair few colbs coming up which again I'm not giving away just yet but I'm so excited about them I'm it's like a kid in a sweet shop. Just want to say a huge thanks for everyone who has support Outbreak over 2009 and hope you carry on with the support through 2010. And thanks for everyone who has supported me too and went and brought my tracks. Much for to come from me in 2010, keep a close eye out.
