What's been your biggest achievement of the year?
Starting at the City of London University ( Even though I was shit at School!) Coming back into a Brand (Storm) that was already at the top of its game and bettering it through the deepest recession in history. Productions, lots of em, Number 1s on Track it down, Radio one plays etc Celebrating 10 years of being a DJ .. Keeping 'Xstatic Clubbing' running together with JP & Jukesy when alot of similar brands have fallen due to the recession.
What moments will you never forget?
Playing at Boho In Ibiza, Playin in Toronto in Canada, Getting stupidly pissed at Atomik weekender! Storm's 9th Birthday, Xstatics 4th Birthday, Theres loads I'll never forget. 2009 was a great year for me.. and I've very greatful.
Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?
I think I said this last year!! but Jordan Suckley, Kiddfectious resident Argy, and all the residents around the country that never get mentioned. Most of them to a fuckin brilliant job.
Who's been the artist of the year for you?
JMF 100% He's just been made Cream resident. He's played as Xstatic resident for many years, his productions are unreal and he can mix like no DJ I've ever seen.
What's been your favourite label of the year?
Deprivation, Toobox, Tidy.
What do you think has been the best track of the year?
Without sounding too selfish I think my own productions because no one is making the sound I want to play at the moment. BK remixed my track, 'Don't Give Up' which got alot of radio one plays, Sabbortage & Hysteria which got the thumbs up in Mix Mag, Passion, and Can't Beleive it which Kutski played 3 times on R1.
What's been your favourite event of the year?
Xstatic's 4th Birthday at The Custard Factory, we drained the pool. Storm's 9th Birthday, but mainly Storm halloween 666 broke a record for the most number at Storm and of course NYE 08 which was sold out.
What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?
Hmmm... I'd probably say when Storm hosted an Arena at Atomik back in November, Very drunk, played the same track twice, fell off the stage and told Andy Farley I loved him!!!! All in a days work! Hahahhahaaha
What do you have planned for the next year?
Produce alot more Hard House & Techno!... :) I've now got 4 residencies, Storm, Xstatic, Blessed & Euponic Fuzion so I'm looking forward to spending more time getting to know the clubbers at Blessed & EF. Also can't wait to get back to Ibiza this year as well as Canada & Australia. Xstatic is doing a UK & World tour in 2010 which has taken alot of planning, and I've planned the biggest event in Storm's history for the 10th Birthday on April 24.... My only hope is I still have a girlfriend at the end of 2010 !!!!!!!!!!!
