What's been your biggest achievement of the year?

Without a doubt my biggest achievement was scoring a mainstage set at this years Defqon 1 festival in Australia. The memories from that day will stay with me for the rest of my life.

What moments will you never forget?

For some reason the whistles and cheers that people let rip when a big bassline drops stick with me. I can remember those, but not what I had for dinner last night...

Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?

I'm probably still considered a newcomer myself.. I spend literally 100% of my time making tunes.. Need to find more time to listen.

Who's been the artist of the year for you?

All the K405 guys..

What's been your favourite label of the year?

K405, IHDS, and my own label 'Janis Digital' ;)

What do you think has been the best track of the year?

Noisecontrollers - Gimme Love

What's been your favourite event of the year?

Defqon 1 AUS in terms of a festival.. But there were some banging club nights along the way too.

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?

Although not funny at the time.. Finishing a 4-5am set to realise I had locked my girlfriends car in a carpark in the city of Melbourne. Then calling her to come get me from an hour away. CDJ's freezing is always good for a laugh too... NOT

What do you have planned for the next year?

Make more tunes, push the label, maybe experiment with some different sounds as usual.
