Kidd Kaos - My Year In Hard Dance

What's been your biggest achievement of the year?

This year has been a big year for K405 with a new generation of talent breaking through. It is nice to see the brand developing and these new acts flourishing into world class artists. With the likes of Mike Steventon, Josh Lang & Side E-Fect making serious waves around the globe it has been an honour to work with these new and talented acts. With numerous album projects and single releases we are always aiming to bring you the best in new music. 2011 has also seen K405 hit the clubs in full force with 'Debut UK Tour' taking England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales by storm. A massive thanks goes out to each and every one that has made this year possible. I look forward to seeing you all again in 2012 for another exciting year in music.

What moments will you never forget?

Epic 14 hour road trip on the K405 Tour bus.. Lots of fun but next time I think I will fly!

Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?

Lots of great acts this year.. have to give a shout out to Mike Steventon & Side E-Fect, also great stuff from Josh Lang. If you haven’t already, check these guys out!

Who's been the artist of the year for you?

Activators new material is filthy and love his production, also Argy is making some serious noise with his forward thinking music and style his weird and wonderful sets and very interesting and always inspiring.

What's been your favourite label of the year?

K405 has had a great year. Subground is rocking right now also :)

What do you think has been the best track of the year?

Kidd Kaos & Side E-Fect – I Found Music (K405)

What's been your favourite event of the year?

Escape in the park was a great event this year, was my first time there and the Welsh ravers love it ;-) Really great vibes and can’t wait to go back next year!

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?

When a fan told me what Kidd Kaos was when written in reverse.. lol

What do you have planned for the next year?

More music and more albums of course with lots a great tracks and remixes lined up for the coming weeks ahead. K405 will be appearing at more venues and clubs around the world with plans to make 2012 the biggest year yet.
