What's been your biggest achievement of the year?

The continued success of my Radio 1 show is always going to be my biggest achievement, but as far as new things i achieved last year, it would have to be the launch of my record label Freerange Muzik!

What moments will you never forget?

Lots of highs and a few lows... On a positive note, playing to thousands of day time Radio 1 listeners at the Radio 1 Big Weekend!!! I was on the main out door stage after Eric Prydz, and was really nervous due to the music i play and the commercial crowd, but it totally went off!! Was an amazing experience! On a less positive note, being stranded at Streatham services on the M5 with Alex Kidd after our flight was cancelled to a gig, so we tried to drive it, but due to an accident on the motorway, we ended up stuck in the services instead!

Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?

Bioweapon! An amazing hardstyle act from Australia. They've just been signed to Scantraxx so 2010 will be massive for them!

Who's been the artist of the year for you?

Showtek have never failed this year in the clubs or with their tracks, so i would have to say them!

What's been your favourite label of the year?

I think I've played everything on DMW this year!

What do you think has been the best track of the year?

DJ Isaac's mix of Endymion & The Viper's "How Long"

What's been your favourite event of the year?

Planet Love, N. Ireland was completely off the hook this year! Closely followed by Global Gathering which was the best year yet too!

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?

Watching Scott Donor befriending Halfwit from big brother at Atomic Weekender, before encouraging the entire back stage area to join in a nice chorus of "Halfwit takes it right up the arse"!!!!

What do you have planned for the next year?

More of the same on the radio front, with some very exciting guests lined up, more production and remix action, and i'm also starting to do hard dance and hardcore reviews, and some tech / equipment review in DJ Mag which I'm excited about!! I'm also doing lot of YouTube stuff at the moment which i'm really enjoying... Not to mention a few gigs squeezed in the weekends ;)
