What tune has defined this year in hard dance for you?
That is a very hard question! I have selfishly enjoyed my own productions this yearas I have worked with some fab producers like Paul Maddox and new kid Tom Parr. There have been some fantastic downloads available from TID (see my top 10!) and also I feel Vicious Circle and Toolbox have done the business this year. If I had to chose a track I would have to say that it would be Paul Glazby's Genetically Modified on Vicious Circle. It sums up hard house for me this year- energetic, uplifting and dirty. Every time I hear it I still love it!
What has been your biggest achievement of the year?
Without a doubt, being signed to Red Artist Management, this was massive for me! When I got the call I was over the moon, and I still am. To be a part of something which is so influential within the hard dance scene is fantastic! All my hard house heroes are in the Red roster so I feel very lucky to be involved. I truly believe it is the best hard house roster ever!
What moments in the last year will you always remember?
The last HDA ceremony was very special. When Cyberkitten won Best Small Club it was monumental. Every person who was involved in making that happen were so over the moon. It was a really enjoyable night- and obviously seeing Yojo and Colin on MTV after they accepted the award for Cyberkitten was very surreal too! Just goes to show if you work hard enough, you can achieve your goals, no matter what they are.
What exciting things do you have planned for next year?
I don't want to spoil the surprises too much, but I will be involved in a very exciting Red tour next year, mixing an album for a certain record label, launching a fabulous digital label and producing many more tracks! Roll on 2008!
