What's been your biggest achievement of the year?

Finally playing main room at Storm for a start. Having tracks signed to Toolbox and playing my first gig at Tidy!

What moments will you never forget?

Having been within the dance scene since 1992 it's fair to say I have seen alot and been involved in alot. From becoming resident MC at Dreamscape back in 1992 and Milwaukees in Bedford which at the time was the biggest Friday night regular event in the UK. More recently though I would say this year to play at Tidy and the main room at the Emporium for Storm.

Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?

Ross Homson I would say. He has created his own unique sound which works so well on the dance floor. Big things ahead that is guaranteed for him.

Who's been the artist of the year for you?

Andy Farley for the simple reason - he IS the number 1.

What's been your favourite label of the year?

Apart from my own label Funky Disko I would have to say Deprivation Recordings.

What do you think has been the best track of the year?

A few stand out this year which has been a massive improvement on last year definitely. JP & Jukesy's remix of Rave Monkey originally by BK. Paul Maddox has to be on a par though with Think Pink.

What's been your favourite event of the year?

Storm Classics 2009 Part 1 was unbelievable. You just couldn't move and the atmosphere was just like old times.. brilliant!

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?

The usual DJ nightmare of stopping the wrong deck would spring to mind BUT whilst playing at B2T earlier in the year at the Sanctuary in Birmingham I almost whilst playing to a packed main room - nearly slipped on my backside when moving across to the right hand deck in order to slow it down. I made a Fonz style recovery though and managed to stay on my feet.

What do you have planned for the next year?

More production than 2009, more gigs and taking Funky Disko an extra step up the ladder in popularity. Keeping Blessed up there with the best in the Midlands.
