My Year In Hard Dance

What tune has defined this year in hard dance for you?

I have to say the tunes that have defined the year for me aren't Hard House, its gotta be Tech Trance! Paul Webster - Wavelength has been a favourite in my record bag since the summer time. Have you heard it? The bassline is just ridiculous! Everytime I've dropped it its turned the crowd into a gurning, dribbling mess ha-ha. Anything touched by Marcel Woods is golden; New Feeling is going to be huge in 2008. In terms of Hard House, Robbie Muir hit the nail on the head with "Music Sounds Better Faster" - hard as nail remix of the Stardust chart topping classic.

What has been your biggest achievement of the year?

My biggest achievement this year was to finally play outside the UK, and rocking it on the infamous White Isle for Tidy @ Es Paradis. This was made even sweeter by having the chance to play at Hush and Kanya during an amazing week on the Island. Also taking my night A+E to another level with sell out crowds, a growing reputation for a quality night and an awesome atmosphere also ranks highly in my list of achievements last year.

What moments in the last year will you always remember?

Absolutely taking the roof off at Nozstock - a growing underground music festival - blew my mind last year and I cant wait to get back there again, the crowd were more up for it than a penis in a porno! Getting muddy in a field never felt so good! Obviously playing along side some of the biggest names in Hard Dance such as Lisa Lashes, Tidy Boys, BK etc is going to stick in my memory, cant wait for more of the same next year.

What exciting things do you have planned for next year?

I'm currently working on a few productions and will be collaborating with the likes of Canadian Hard House legend in the making and International A+E resident; Rodi Style! My aim is to really get my head down and do a lot more studio work, heading more towards the techier side of hard dance. Ibiza is in the planning already and I'm looking forward to taking myself and A+E on an even bigger tour of the island. 2008 is set to be an exciting year with gigs and festivals galore for myself, and really pushing the envelope with A+E!
