What tune has defined this year in hard dance for you?
BK and Vinylgroover - "Microwave" on Riot. It encompasses everything which is great about the hard dance scene in 2007!
What has been your biggest achievement of the year?
Seeing my Addiction Digital label voted Best Label in a major online awards ceremony and taking on the job of reviewing Hard Dance for Mixmag. I was also nominated 'Future Hero' this year by Mixmag, which was just an absolute dream come true for me! My gig highlight would be Tidy Weekender 12 - a superb weekend and a pleasure to play at!
What moments in the last year will you always remember?
I'll always remember 2007 as the year that the youth took over the scene. We've seen producers as young as 16 get signed up by the major labels and thanks to the internet, the scene is full of fresh blood writing some absolutely superb material.
What exciting things do you have planned for next year?
The Addiction Digital label will really go from strength to strength next year! We've got some absolutely superb releases lined up from some very big names, in addition to branching out slightly into other genres with some world class producers on board. Watch this space, as it's going to get hugely exciting!
