What's been your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting our studio/Dj/ production school 'The Audio Surgery' and record label up and running, its taken practically the whole year to complete. there were so many unforeseen problems with the building work and damp issues! and as with all building projects the budget spiraled way out of control lol! check out the Audio Surgery http://www.audiosurgery.co.uk/Audio-Surgery-Studio-Hire.html
What moments will you never forget?
Playing to 3 people for 10 minutes at the DISASTER that was Southern Sound Festival lol! it quite literally was soul destroying! none of the headline acts turned up, no one got paid and it was featured on bbc watch dog. classic!
Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?
Neal thomas definitely made a good impression this year, with some great remixes and original productions
Who's been the artist of the year for you?
Well actually more on the tech trance tip but it would have to be Mac&Taylor. Really loving these guys right now, they delivered a couple of slamming remixes for us and their original productions have been top notch!
What's been your favourite label of the year?
Audio Surgery Records
What do you think has been the best track of the year?
Organ Donors V Kid Kaos 'Silence' We have played this track every set for the last 7 months. Always does the damage! there were also some cracking remixes on our 'Under the knife' album project. 'Blackou't Zany and Mac and Taylors remixes, Mark sherry's remix of 99.9 also Neal thomas 'pyrotechno'
What's been your favourite event of the year?
Monday Bar Cruise, Sweden to Finland! Just take an Atomic Weekender and stick it on a 3000 capacity cruise liner out in the Nordic Sea! 3 Clubs, 5 Restaurants, 10 Storys High! Free food! Free Alcohol! 900 Cabins! Truely Insane!.. Still never did find out why it was called the 'Monday Bar Cruise' when it was on a thursday!
What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?
Well we are never short of a few funny stories and this year has been no exception, one incident that stands out was earlier in the year at slammin vinyl, Matt thought it would be a good idea to go back stage and put on one of the dancers skin tight gold bikins! shove a pair of socks down the crotch then prance around the stage in it! not a pretty sight i can tell you! but don't worry, the photos soon found themselves onto facebook haha! But the stand out moment for me was when scott was confronted by a raver with a camera whilst stood next to another certain Dj, he jumped in the shoot pulling his catalogue pose face, The the raver said "no i mean can you take a picture of me and the other Dj! i have never seen someone go as red but lilly white at the same time in my life! in fact he has had an all year round tansince and the incident still haunts him to this day hahaha!
