Paul-F - My Year In Hard Dance

What's been your biggest achievement of the year?

Good question, i'd have to say getting my first track "Come Together" Tom Berry & Paul-F, signed to Tidy.....chuffed to bits with that as it was a personal goal for me to get a track signed to Tidy at some point. We then found out it was featuring on the "Future Anthems" Cd of the new Tidy Gold album.....buzzin.... Too find yourself on sale in Hmv when your shopping is truly surreal, trust me lol

What moments will you never forget?

Theres so many i could go on for ever lol, so i'll bullet point a few favourites to make it easier : Got together with my old hero & new pal, Joey riot for a few tracks in the studio & (several piss ups since).....good times :) Done a collaberation with Amber d & Kye that has been signed to Awsum so look out for that soon. I've Played Main room @ Gatecrasher Birmingham twice now, 2 Nyd's in a row to 1600 people.....B2T baby, massive thanks to the lads for booking me.....muchos luv ;) Having 3 tracks played on Radio 1 this year too was amazing and add to that about 7 number ones on the Tid download chart...... I love what i do so its all such a buzz, lets hope it gets better and better :)

Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?

I class myself as a newcomer so i wouldn't pass comment on anyone else for that reason :)

Who's been the artist of the year for you?

I'd say Alf(Technikal), has been for me mainly cause im a huge Hard trance head and the man never fails to deliver some rather big euphoric anthems upon request lol

What's been your favourite label of the year?

Its gonna have to be Presence recordings for me. I run the Hard trance label and judging it by peoples comments as well as download chart sales etc, the label seems to have become quite a favourite with many dj's & Clubbers like and Kye's Presence bounce has done well too which is good to see....so its all good all round. Myself and Kye will be running the new "B2T recordings" label coming very very soon so keep your ears peeled my friends :)

What do you think has been the best track of the year?

My favourite track would need to be "Free fallin" - Rob Tissera & Technikal.... My two favourite artists get together and bring out an anthem, then.....get this.....I got asked to do a bounce version for the remixes by Tidy......So chuffed, what an amazing hounor from my point of view.

What's been your favourite event of the year?

Has to be B2T v's Insoniacz @ Gatecrasher on New years day this year..... 1600 full on up for it clubbers and an atmosphere you'll only find at a B2T event. You need to add this to your 'to do' list for this year if you haven't been to a B2T event yet!

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?

I honestly have way too many to mention, seriously ! keep your eye on my facebook page and you'd see what i mean, my mates are all mad headz so theres never a dull moment lol

What do you have planned for the next year?

Well so far I've done collaborations with Rob Tissera, Amber D, Joey Riot, Carl Nicholson and so many other people and i've loved them all so i think i'll be looking at making some more tracks with some of our scenes big names this year and maybe some from other scenes too...... Broaden ones horizons so too speak and i think I'm gonna be more experimental this new year so watch this space!
