Prankster - My Year In Hard Dance

What's been your biggest achievement of the year?

The release of my latest 3 tracks was a big achievement. I worked on them for a very long time, and it was great to see them reaching the top spots in the download-charts and beeing supported by great artist.

What moments will you never forget?

Tha Playah playing my track Blood & Tears @ Decibel outdoor 2011. I was attending as a visitor at the party and when I heard my own track in that immense stage it was the best feeling in the world!

Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?

Distorted Revaltion did a great first release on our label Adrenaline Tracks, wich I still play very often. Although I've known them for quite some time, I was still amazed by the quality of the tracks :) Also, State of Emergency is doing great with a superb remix of Angerfist - Riotstarter and some solo tracks.

Who's been the artist of the year for you?

Tha Playah has been my favorite artist for years, his sound is just so immense. Spending a day in his studio last year was a dream coming true :)

What's been your favourite label of the year?

Neophyte Records has had only pure quality releases this year. Track after track became floorfillers, so the choise is not so difficult.

What do you think has been the best track of the year?

Tha Playah - On The Edge, no doubt about it.. This track is just insane. Listen to it, seriously.

What's been your favourite event of the year?

Defqon 1 really hit the spot music-wise. All sets of the day were great and the shows were breathtaking.

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?

Getting lost in Germany on my way to A Neophyte- Creators of the core gig. We drove around for hours before finally reaching the venue, 5 minutes before my set-time. It was kinda stressfull at the time, but looking back it was actually quite funny.

What do you have planned for the next year?

Creating more music byh myself and with others like Synthax to be released on Adrenaline Tracks. A new release is almost done, and more will follow. Also, hopefully I will be playing at some great gigs again.. We'll see!
