Pred - My Year In Hard Dance

What's been your biggest achievement of the year?

Stepping up the productions this year for sure under my name and the other production alias 'Bangerz & Masherz' & just working hard experimenting with new dark sounds and ideas. Getting music releases on different labels is always nice as well through - Digitally Infected,Dirty Stop Outs,AID,Pro State Digital,Ultraviolence Recordings,Hard Kandy,Infexious & Friction. Seeing my tracks in the top 20 makes me so happy for sure and having my tracks played by big names just makes it all worth while. Being asked to be part of the Gearbox radio show team was excellent as well so I could share my Hard Trance sounds.

What moments will you never forget?

Getting my most sinister track 'Concept' released on Analogue is Dead. I wasn't sure how the Hard Dance community would take my dark sounds but it went down really well! Another great moment was the end of night laser vibes at Defqon.1 Australia. Being apart of it is just sublime...

Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?

Jim Justice for sure! Great tech madness from the dutchman

Who's been the artist of the year for you?

For sure DJ Husband. Great tunes and a top bloke too! Josh Lang has been tearing it up as well as Chris Dynasty. Great year for aussie hard dance =) Andrea montorsi deserves a mention also.

What's been your favourite label of the year?

hmmm so hard to pick...every label has its own flavor for me it's Analogue is Dead!

What do you think has been the best track of the year?

Busho & Louk - The Warning (Sa.vee.oh remix) ohhhh the goosebumps =)

What's been your favourite event of the year?

Defqon.1 Australia hands down. The overall organizing of everything when you walk in and out is just amazing. Q-dance know how to deliver a great party!

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?

People falling over in clubs and festivals always makes me laugh.. nuff said

What do you have planned for the next year?

Push new dark sounds into the scene and work hard on new fresh material. Continue with Gearbox mixes. Get more gigs and generally just spread the word of quality hard dance music to new people. Networking is most important to attracting open minded people into our scene and keeping it alive!
