What's been your biggest achievement of the year?
My biggest achievement this year is definitely being asked by Phil York and Sam Townend to mix a Project for them, all will be revealed very soon!
What moments will you never forget?
There has been some great moments and amazing events this year, one of the best being Bionic vs Escape Gets Filthy vs Nemesis back in August, the three of the biggest brands in Wales went head to head at Escape, with a huge line-up and a sell-out crowd. It went so well we are doing the same for New Years Eve so if you like youre harder sounds get involved people! Also loved our 4th Birthday Party at Escape Gets Filthy which was amazing and a great feeling to see we have survived this length of time in the current financial climate, big thanks to all of our loyal supporters!
Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?
Production wise Aaron Curtis better known as Tranz-linquant/Fujin Ku is making probably the best stuff in Wales right now, we have collaborated twice so far with great results, stay tuned for more work from us in 2012. DJ wise, look out for a friend of mine Zac F who is mixing up storms!
Who's been the artist of the year for you?
As always, the Midlands Bounce King Tom Berry has come up with the goods for me this year! Also loving the F**k Vinyl bootlegs and Technikal is forever releasing epic tunes!
What's been your favourite label of the year?
AWsum, Technikal Recordings, Bionic and 3Phase.
What do you think has been the best track of the year?
A tough one, Im still loving Cally Gage & Gammer - Breakneck Bastard, but also caning Tekno Tom's epic remix of Avicii Levels too!
What's been your favourite event of the year?
The Tidy Weekender Reunion without a doubt, anyone who has been to a weekender will know about the special place it holds in your heart! Amazing arenas, DJs, production and not to mention the chalet parties! There is apparently not going to be anymore... we'll see!
What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?
Being on route to play at Storm Classics, stupidly entering an L postcode into the Sat Nav instead of LE and ending up just shy of Liverpool! Got there with 3 minutes to spare and banged out a Nukleuz blue classics set to a rocking crowd.
What do you have planned for the next year?
As mentioned above I have been asked to mix a compilation CD so will be pushing that as much as possible with hopefully an associated tour. Also continuing to develop my Escape Gets Filthy brand with our events at Waless number one nightspot, Escape and further afield...possibly even a trip abroad watch this space! We have also now launched an exciting new record label with the immensely talented EGF resident DJ Argy at the helm, so expect to hear some Twisted Techno, Weird and Wonderful Hard Dance, and some Hard House home runs from us too!
