What's been your biggest achievement of the year?
My biggest achievement of the year would either be receiving a booking at Atomik Weekender, as its been one of my all-time goals. Or seeing my event: Escape Gets Filthy fast becoming one of the biggest and best events in the UK! Also being signed to the massive Bionic Artists Roster has been a great achievement for me this year, seeing my name up there with some of the UK and Europes Biggest DJs is surreal.
What moments will you never forget?
Selling out the closing party at the "Old Escape" in Northampton Lane, and having the massive priviledge of playing the last ever set and last ever track there before moving on to pastures new. The club was filled to the rafters with old and new faces, and emotions. I'll never forget that. Then moving into our new super club on the Kingsway, and having some Epic nights with the likes of Showtek, Andy Whitby, Alex Kidd and many others, proving that Hard Dance is definately still rocking in Wales!
Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?
Theres some great talent emerging from Wales at the moment, I would have to say Shock:Force, Argy and Will Rees are all doing the biz and rocking it big time!
Who's been the artist of the year for you?
Without a doubt Tom Berry, hes really churning out some awesome Hard House & Bounce, I always get excited when I see new tracks from Tom in my inbox! Also Matt Lee, Paul F, Eskimo, Wain Johnstone and Bootek have been coming up with the goods in a big way!
What's been your favourite label of the year?
Again Tom Berry and his 3 Phase Label has been my favourite of the year, making consistently banging bounce! Also a big shout out to Presence who have been releasing some gems all across the Hard Dance Spectrum.
What do you think has been the best track of the year?
Shamelessly I would go with our update of a classic: Rob Davies & Vandall - Nuclear Device, it never fails! Vandall is an amazing producer, look out for our remix of JFK - Good God too :)
What's been your favourite event of the year?
Being from Swansea I would have to say Escape Into The Park as its right on my doorstep! Having the chance to play there was another great achievement of mine. Bionic is always a great party, and a biased opinion here of course but Escape Gets Filthy has been rocking this year too. In particular our massive VS events with Industry Giants Goodgreef and AWsum!
What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?
Probably a certain Industry Party Animal (not mentioning any names haha) accidentaly breaking my headphones just as I was about to take to the decks at Escape, resulting in me playing a set to a capacity crowd with a snapped pair of cans!
What do you have planned for the next year?
My plans for the next 12 months are simple, to up my game, get as many big gigs as possible, and release more tracks, and continue to take Escape Gets Filthy to the top!
