What's been your biggest achievement of the year?

We toured South Africa this year for hard kandy, was a totally awesome and unforgettable experience. Met some great people and traveled somewhere I had always to wanted to go as I love experiencing different and diverse cultures the world has to offer.

What moments will you never forget?

Massive Worldwide in Malaysia at Sepang F1 Circuit. Playing closing set to 8000 people was so much fun, and showing everyone with champaign at the end was crazy!!

Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?

Josh Lang has a defining sound and a great direction with his music and I expect him to really shine in 2012. Also Andy Maurer is producing some cutting tech-electro and breaking real ground there.

Who's been the artist of the year for you?

That's a tough one. Across the spectrum Josh Lang, Telekinesis, Kalus locally are doing big things. Overseas I see future movements in sounds from guys like Deadmau5e, Organ Donors, Kris Ryland, Porter Robinson, Skrillex etc I really dig what they are doing in their productions.

What's been your favourite label of the year?

I've been happy with the releases on hard kandy digital this year and also I'm a big fan of K405Recordings, Spinning

What's been your favourite event of the year?

Massive Worldwide in Malaysia at Sepang F1 Circuit. Playing closing set to 8000 people was so much fun!! They are so passionate about their music and so was a real joy to play. The Kiddfectious show we put on was a real blast as well

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?

I would say nearly getting my arse burnt off at Christmas Kandy when I stood to close to the flame bursts on stage. I think I jumped a foot as I looked around to see everyone laughing. That was a crazy and fun night.

What do you have planned for the next year?

We have some great releases planned for 2012 on hard kandy digital and I'm really excited about all the new talent coming through in Australia. I think were going to see some exciting things in music for 2012, so looking forward to breaking new ground!
