What's been your biggest achievement of the year?

Getting Encoded established and attracting people such as James Nardi and Adrenaline Dept to the Label. Also getting on Carbons Velvet Hammer CD release was wicked!

What moments will you never forget?

Tidy @ Magna in March, awesome, awesome night/weekend!

Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?

I Dont know why but i hadn't heard of Paul F and Kye Shand before '09 and they have absolutely smashed it this year. Label-wise it would have to be Electrik Shandy. Awesome stuff from Dave Mac.

Who's been the artist of the year for you?

Ilogik has done some cracking stuff this year and the collabs Carl Nicholson has done with Jody 6 and K-complex this year have been outstanding. For me it would be Between Simon Qudos and S.Q. though both have been on fire in 09.

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?

I suppose it has to be at Concept in June when i was about to start my set. A good friend of mine was playing before me for some reason pressed eject on both cdjs at the same time during his last mix, then ducked down, leaving me standing facing a packed club, in silence. Its funnier now than it was then!

What do you have planned for the next year?

Concentrate on my Solo productions/engineering more and keep Encoded Going Onward and Upward! Will be looking at doing a live PA in the new year so watch this space!
