What's been your biggest achievement of the year?
We have had such an amazing year with the 1st release on the Bionic Digital label and also being signed to their Artist Roster and also with various Radio 1 plays but, i think the biggest achievement of the year for us was to have our tour in Australia confirmed for Feb 2010. We are playing 4 events in 4 different cities including the massive HTID Festival in Sydney. We are absolutely delighted with this and it will be an amazing experience for us.
What moments will you never forget?
Oh god so many to choose from but i think we'll have to go with our gig at Glowball in September. We were playing the closing set and even though we were supposed to finish at 6am we were still going strong with our "1 More" at 6:15am the lights were on and everyone was going absolutely mental to "Player One - Insomnia (Asylum Remix)"
Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?
Another tough one, i really like what Louk is doing for the Hard Tech scene. There are some amazing newcomers in the Hard Trance scene too including Holland's, The Sixth Sense and also MDA & Spherical & Iridium for the UK scene. Also i think Dean Zone deserves a mention for his tireless work in and out of the studio, definitely expect some good euro from this guy very soon.
Who's been the artist of the year for you?
It's too difficult to pick just 1 so, for us i think it would have to be Log:One & Wragg for their countless great tracks also Alex Kidd & Kidd Kaos who have also released some fantastic tracks. For the UK music, i like what Andy Whitby is doing with AWsum and last but certainly not least - Kutski, the guy is a complete legend and is doing so much for the Hard Dance scene in the UK.
What's been your favourite label of the year?
For the Euro stuff we would say Trancefuzion, Intolerance, Joyride & Kiddfectious have all been pretty consistent and for UK it would have to be Technikal Recordings, Tidy & AWsum.
What do you think has been the best track of the year?
Too hard to pick one again, we have so many lol.... Probably, 1. Nish - Dying For You (Log:One & Wragg Remix) 2. Nomad - Ignited, 3. Kidd Kaos - Music Is My Weapon 4. Lisa Lashes, Alex Kidd & Kidd Kaos - Nu Religion. Oh and our remix of 'The Space Brothers' classic 'Shine' always goes down a treat!
What's been your favourite event of the year?
Without a doubt - Riot! Presents Goodgreef & Storm 27th November @ Matter! Amazing club, perfect blend of UK & Euro artists and probably the best system and atmosphere in London.
What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?
Haha... Kind of a long standing joke this one. Started off as literally just a joke but then Matt took it a bit further, i (Sully) once had a dream we were playing a massive event and every CD i put in the CD deck and played it, a Beyonce track would play. Anyway it was back in august and we were playing our debut main room set at Bionic and Matt had burned some Beyonce tracks to a CD and labelled it 'SHOCK:FORCE - Dawn Of Time' confused the hell out of me and Matt said he'll never forget my face! I still check my CD's every gig and will do forever lol.
What do you have planned for the next year?
Next year is set to be a massive year, with our tour in Australia in Feb and we will be running an exciting new Euro/Hardstyle label with Andy Whitby called AWsum Black. Also we have some really exciting studio projects and will be working with some of the biggest names in Hard Dance. Our main goal is to work harder and have an even better year in 2010.
