What tune has defined this year in hard dance for you?
FTS!
What has been your biggest achievement of the year?
Being the first in our scene to produce our own album is something we are very proud of. We received a lot of great reactions and compliments from all around the globe! With our album "today is tomorrow" we showed our crowd what we stand for and what we are capable of. We have got our own unique Showtek sound, that we describe as catchy, melodic, and pounding rhythms. We gained a lot of new listeners and we'll hope to reach a lot more this year.
What moments in the last year will you always remember?
Our album world tour is a memorable thing in our career, we recently played at Qlimax (25,000 screaming people) which was great too. And just the major response we receive from all the crowds around is great. To us it is very important you get recognition for what you do and what you stand for, it inspires us to continue and show everybody what we like most. Phat productions and devastating dj sets! Our remix for the all time classic "Wonderful Days" from Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo gained massive reactions and we really like to remix this bomber. We are very satisfied with the result.
What exciting things do you have planned for next year?
2008 cant start any better for us, the 26 of January we have our own "X-Qlusive Showtek" at the HMH Amsterdam, with a capacity of 6000 Showtek fans it is a major honour for us. Of course we'll produce a lot of new stuff in the studio because we think it is very important to stay focussed on the productions and surprise your crowd time and time again. We already have some new tunes that will be released in 2008 and some more innovative "experimental" tracks.
