What's been your biggest achievement of the year?

My biggest achievement is probably non music related but finding out my Girlfriend was pregnant. In terms of music would have to be earlier this year when my own event Sleep Walk was fully up and running and the event ran straight after B2T’s new years day event. There was a lot of work which went into it and some very long hours so to see it pay off was fantastic. Would have to also say having three tracks from Razor Recordings in final top 3 of the NRG charts for 2009/the decade.

What moments will you never forget?

Having to cancel events due to situations out of my control which then led to me knocking events on the head for a while. This year has also been so much of a rollercoaster!

Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?

I’m really impressed with a new artist that has recently appeared on Toolbox, Craig Lee his stuff has been wicked and he’s got more to come. Also Sturdy Kitz have been putting out some quality tracks and remixes. This year has been fantastic for new artists.

Who's been the artist of the year for you?

The main artists have continued to deliver this year but my favourite has to be Nik Denton! His stuff has been unbelievable of late. Also Dave owens and Dom Sweeton.

What's been your favourite label of the year?

Has to be Toolbox and Fireball. Two very good labels who are getting stronger and stronger.

What do you think has been the best track of the year?

Nik Denton – Sweat. Its full of NRG but not aggressive NRG if you know what I mean? It Reminds me of the good old TDV and Trade days.

What's been your favourite event of the year?

Best events would probably be B2T and three stick out in my mind. Two of them were at Gatecrasher and the other was there return to the Sanctuary (Bar Fly), as ‘The Academy of Hard Dance’. Wicked atmosphere at each of the events.

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?

I have this Vivian Westwood top that has a picture of Leonard Peltier and a slogan that reads ‘Leonard Peltier’ is innocent’. My friend thought it be funny to go around telling everyone one he was a sex pest. I wondered why everyone was looking at my top and giving me funny looks that night. Any way just to clear it up hes not a sex pest but was convicted for murdering an FBI agent which he did not do, Google it if you dont believe me lol.

What do you have planned for the next year?

After taking a back seat for a lot of this year, I’ve now got so much lined up for 2010. My labels Razor Recordings, Test Lab and Digital Razor had a fantastic end to the year after deciding to go fully Digital. We have some very exciting tracks to come and I’ve also been asked to mix a compilation so am looking forward to that as well. I also have a very exciting and secret project in the pipeline so watch this space for that. You can visit www.razor-facebook.info where i will be posting information in the coming months.
