Thilo&Evanti - My Year In Hard Dance

What's been your biggest achievement of the year?

That would be our own area at Q-base. Playing at Q-xlusive DBSTF, Mixing the Q-base cd and besides that, our Asian and Australian tour.

What moments will you never forget?

Our first gig in Kuala Lumpur. People went NUTS!!!! And that Max Savietto asked us to do a remix of our favorite Hardtrance track ever "Loophole".

Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?

The newcomer who has impressed us the most would be : Mad Raver from Ukraine. His music is really energetic. In Harddance and as techno. Keep an eye on this one!

Who's been the artist of the year for you?

There so many good artists at the moment, it's really difficult to highlight one. So we decided to name a few: Diablik, The Engineer, GATTY, Dj Husband, Oyaebu, Luca Antolini, Soul-t, Busho, Stana, Artic-Origin, Frank Ellrich a.k.a A*S*Y*S*, Leon B, Max Savietto, Louk, and so many many more

What's been your favourite label of the year?

Well, that's a hard question :-)....That would be Analogue is Dead(AID)offcourse, and all other labels that currently expanding great powerfull Hard/Techdance releases.

What do you think has been the best track of the year?

For Thilo that would be Leon B with Hazzard, and for Evanti it is The Engineer remix of Promicin by Artic-Origin.

What's been your favourite event of the year?

Q-base was again legendary. Great music, wicked party people, and the weather during the night!!!

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?

Well, there is one story. We we're in Malaysia after our first gig and we went for an urban street dinner after a lot Wodka with the #Hardstyle malaysia crew...After a while Evanti Started talking fluently Malaysian and Thilo could not understand how the hell he did that. But the clue was simple. There was an tv standing behind Thilo and Jaws I was playing and the subtitles were Malaysian. The look on Thilo's face was briliant!!!!You should have been there....APPA APPA

What do you have planned for the next year?

A lot of new releases, Making an album, expanding our T&E sound.
