TITAN - My Year In Hard Dance

What's been your biggest achievement of the year?

I think my latest release 'Remember me' and the remix what i did for Zany, 'Symphonic Feedback'. Playing at some big festivals this summer, Defqon.1, The Qontinent, Dominator and Decibel. And also my back to back set with B­‐Front at ‘Q‐Dance presents Fusion’. The vibe in the Heineken Music Hall (Amsterdam) was just insane during that performance. I absolutely loved it!

What moments will you never forget?

Thats the moment when i get the honor to close the blue area at Defqon.1 and everything went wrong. I had some technical problems with the equipment. I just play 20 minutes of my 1 hour set. This was a very emotional moment for me.

Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?

Jack of Sound, Code Black and Adaro these guys have their own sound. Unique!

Who's been the artist of the year for you?

I got a few favorites Zany, B-Front ,The Pitcher, Adaro, MCDV8, Toneshifterz and Noisecontrollers

What's been your favourite label of the year?

That’s easy: Fusion Records. Their honest sound and image make me very proud I got signed there. I used to be a big fan of the label and to be actually part of their crew now makes me very happy.

What do you think has been the best track of the year?

Zany - Symphonic Feedback (Titan RMX)

What's been your favourite event of the year?

Decibel Outdoor 2011. It was my first time ever visiting and playing that festival. The location, the atmosphere, the crowd, the stages, the lights. It’s just all very intense, a great event.

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?

I've been thinking about it, but I think that will happen until 2012

What do you have planned for the next year?

Produce and release a lot of new tracks and playing on the biggest events!
