Unit 13 - My Year In Hard Dance

What's been your biggest achievement of the year?

I would say our biggest achievement this year would be getting our music there and being supported by some of the biggest names in the scene and seeing our music doing damage in the club or at festivals, we where sent a video of a Dj playing our track "Numb" at festival in Chile to a few thousand people and it went off watching that a 9am on a Monday morning wakes you up better then coffee!

What moments will you never forget?

It's got to be standing in Camden palace (Koko) at Frantic 14 and hearing one of our tracks played by Phil Reynolds who we did not know at the time and have been huge fans of his work for years it was just mind blowing, to go from starting the track to seeing it released and then to a event like that we count our selves as very fortunate for it to be happening to us

Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?

We can honestly say this has to go to a young producer "Shiverize" from Croatia we where asked to do a remix for Bleach Recordings and they sent us a track by him called "Titan" to remix and its just an amazing bit of Hard Trance and when we where told he is only 15 this makes the track even better this guy is amazing given the time space he has been producing

Who's been the artist of the year for you?

Oh god this is a hard one as this year has been amazing for the quality of Hard Dance music But our vote would have to go with Energy Syndicate that man is on fire he is twisting genres like no one else in the scene at the moment and he works damn hard too!

What's been your favourite label of the year?

Fired Up Records without a shadow of doubt the label has come on leaps in bounds in the last 12 months and is now one of the best hard trance labels about, we couldn't be prouder to have been working there this year thank you Sarah!

What do you think has been the best track of the year?

We are going to have to be biased on this one and say our own track "Numb" its been a big track for us this year and has been our highest placing track in the charts to date

What's been your favourite event of the year?

Frantic's 14th birthday at KoKo oh my god the atmosphere at this place was on another level all night long i'm getting goosebumps thinking back to it!, the vibe Frantic is amazing anyone who has not been your missing out big time!

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?

When Hard House Heaven was in London we hooked up with Costa Pantazis and went on a all day drinking session with him and by 11pm in the club his legs seemed to have stopped working and he was pretty much out cold on the floor of Hidden Kudos to him though we did warn him we like to party hard!

What do you have planned for the next year?

We made this year all about studio time and only played one gig all year and it brought it all back to us about how much we love playing live together too as that's where we started out as Dj's So 2012 is all about gigs and studio time so watch out people as we party hard to!!
