What's been your biggest achievement of the year?

The best thing happened to me was my release on 4Dots, the talent label of Dutch Master Works. A funny fact is that the Yofridiz made a remix of the track "never free". After that YOZ went solo and just had his first release on Dutch Master Works also.

What moments will you never forget?

My gig b2b with Vantage Point on DDN festival (NL). I made a bootleg version of "save the world" by SHM, the crowd went insane when I played it. And a bonus was that we had half an hour more playtime because Wildstylez was held up by traffic. Best gig ever!

Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?

Actually not really a newcomer, but back in the game with a new alias. Code Black. Awesome tracks from what he got out there till now! Good move to go his own path and release on Fusion.

Who's been the artist of the year for you?

I was really surprised to hear the latest of Brennan Heart & Wildstylez - Loose my mind. That track really has got everything in it! Great sounds, great feeling and atmosphere, lyrics and lead. It all just falls into place. Goosebumps every time I hear that track! I also think the guys of Gunz for Hire earn their spot here. That live act is just stunning!

What's been your favourite label of the year?

Also many good releases this year. If I need to choose i would go with the 3 big names, DMW, Fusion, Scantraxx. But i need to choose one, so i would say Dutch Master Works.

What do you think has been the best track of the year?

There has been a lot of great tracks, so difficult to choose one specific. If I would need to, then it would definitely be Brennan Heart & Wildstylez - Loose my mind. I love the melodic tracks, so this one suits me best!

What's been your favourite event of the year?

Decibel outdoor, definitly! Everybody was longing for the sun in Holland last festival season, and there it finally was... A perfect day, perfect party, best crowd, what could you wish more?

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?

Not that many strange things happened actually during gigs. I played this year for the first time with the cdj2000's, and probably a common mistake, i forgot to hit the enter button after selecting the next track. So i played the same track as the one before, haha! Donny of Vantage Point came to the rescue luckily and played another track in quickly. I think no one noticed...

What do you have planned for the next year?

I am busy in the studio working on new sounds. I had some in depth production courses by A-Lusion (lussive media), and that really helped out a lot! So just taking the time to get new tracks out there for you! I am aiming for DMW instead of 4Dots now, so hope that some new releases will get out there in the first quarter of 2012! Stay tuned i would say!
